Research interests

  • Statistical signal and image processing, and pattern recognition.
  • Estimation theory and Fisher information.
  • Mathematical optimization (e.g. linear, non-linear and compressive sensing) with application to single molecule microscopy.
  • Biomedical image analysis with applications to fluorescence microscopy, PET/CT, and Mammography.
  • Single molecule localization and tracking.
  • Real-time embedded signal and image processing on TMS320C6xxx platforms.
